I made this a few nights ago. Was trying to experiment with some effects that I’ve learnt few weeks ago :D and at the same time, helping sis for her poster. Haha! Please give comments, if possible :D
I guess this is the first time I’m publishing my photoshop work online though!
And.. I am so proud to say..
Finally,
I
watched
GEE
EYE
JOE
on Wednesday!
WOO
HOO (:Honestly, I’m just trying to make my post looked longer with only 1 word in one line :D Hahaha!
I realized I’m quite easily contented actually. You can’t believe how happy was I after watching G.I. Joe at AMK hub that day, I think I looked just like an 18 year old idiot smiling and acting so hyped up and so immaturely. Hahaha!
Okay, initially, I wasn’t planning to watch any movie that day because I’m supposed to go for this interview for Singtel roadshow job. And it's really retarded when she asked me "Can you tell me more about your strength?" and I am real tempted to lift up my right arm with a L shape and show her my arm muscles, “Here! *Piak piak my arm*”. LOL! Come on, it’s my blood that I am lame what! Haha!
On Thursday, it's the big day. For me at least, it's
big. Because I am not a good speaker, and I’m real bad at starting a conversation. Moreover, I don’t know what kind of person I will be meeting in this event. Good enough, I got supports from family and friends that boosted my confidence! (Ya lah, I was nervous!) Haha! & I really love my mum because she’s super supportive to me (: Thanks for shopping with me to get pants and shoes :D And dad for driving me down to Philips to attend the Design Seminar. Even the auntie at the salon wished me luck! Haha! Damn joke when she said she used to 混 Toa Payoh.
Stood at the main door with Alan and Zach to welcome the VIPs and direct them to the lift. Replay the open-door-greet-direct scenario over and over again (Y) Anthony joined us shortly after and he told us more about him and, el-oh-el, he’s just like us -.- I thought he’s some serious office person, but turn out he is a “Pai kia” and love fun as much as us. Haha!
After the whole launching of Singapore Design Class, we tried to break the ice with the Directors of various companies to "pull string". I must admit, I really suck at starting a topic with a stranger -.- it became even harder when our age gap so huge! But somehow somewhat, I stepped out from my comfort zone and initiate one (yes, just one) conversation with this Spanish guy. I think he’s a design director from… okay, I can’t remember (: Haha! Introduced myself to other directors with help from friends and, honestly, the stories and advices from them.. is so true.
Getting stuck in Singapore to do design is not going to bring me to anywhere. I guess I will be seeing the world when I’m older then. Being a designer is hard. Some people may thinks that designer's job is easy ah, just draw, color and get money liao, easy cash. But you seriously don't understand how many sleepless nights we sacrificed just to get our design as good as possible.
In fact, it’s harder than finding you.
Anyway, should I start including my Portfolios into crane-s.bs? I wonder, I wonder D:
